16 week appt

All was well. I have gained 3 pounds total and the baby's heart beat was 160. I have graduated to appointments of every 4 weeks. So my next appointment is November 19th. I also get to have my Ultra sound that day! I am very excited. As of right now we are looking at a c-section date of April 2nd. That is Good Friday! So I will have an Easter Baby.

The only thing that griped me today was my doctors issue with me possibly having one more baby after this. He said they do not like to do 3 c-sections. The thing is they won't let me do a VBAC so I really do not have a choice and I am not ready to the choice taken away from me. Oh well at least he is not the only doctor in the office.

It really does seem that the medical community is trying to take away from mother's their procreational rights.  Hospitals deciding they won't "allow" VBACs, doctors not willing to take on a VBAC and then limiting the number of c-sections they allow.  When exactly does the woman, the actual OWNER of the body get to make some decisions???

I find it really irritating.

 Glad it went well. That so exciting you get to check on your little one more often. 

I'll be getting my second C section too with this baby. I didn't know that they limit the number of C sections like that. I didn't even know that that would be an issue.

I am not sure it is or if it is just this particular doctor in this practice. I am researching to see what me options are.

sounds like all is going well... ive never had a c-section so take this for what its worth.... they say the more cuts to the organ the weaker it becomes and there is a higher risk for it to open up ( i forget the word)...however....i agree... its your body and if you wanted 35 kids you should be able to have them
