Son of a....../Edit to add a little something
I am not sure if this is an option but is there anyway you can talk to your doctor and tell them the cir****tances to see if they can induce you on a certain day? I know an induction isn't what everyone wants but it would guarantee your parents be there for the twins.
I will be thinking and praying for you when you near your delivery date. I understand the worries of weather issues. I live right by Lake Superior and we get all that nasty snow here too! Do you have any good friends near by that you could trust until the Grandparents arrive??

I think I send out a ***** vibe, because none of my neighbors have even tried to meet and greet with me. Hmmmm, maybe that's something I should think about........or not.
When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!
Reason number 43245678 why we are moving. Prime example. My neighbors 7 year old likes to scream up and down the streets every nasty foul mouth word that you can think of. His dad happened to be outside one day when he did it and now I know where he gets it from. Not the kids I want around my kids.
I drove by our hospital and saw huge ass signs that ban under 18 vistors also. I would be freaking, too. Even though I had scheduled c-sections there is always 'that ' chance that I would go into labor first, ya know? I don't have any local friends or family either.
I do think it's stupid that siblings can't see the babies. ANYONE can carry the H1N1 virus, and like you said IT'S JUST THE FLU.
I do hope your new baby cooperates with you on when you go into labor. :o)

I understand that visiting a new sibling is a different story. Our unit is not yet so prohibitive, but every visitor gets screened for fever and symptoms every single time they enter the unit. It bites that it's come to this, but hospitals have a responsibility to protect all of their patients from hospital aquired illness.
It all boils down to liability. If a patient catches the flu and dies while hospitalized for something else, who gets the blame? The little boy who "had allergies", or the hospital???
