28 week update and advice
Well things are going pretty well. I weighed myself today and Ive gained 3 lbs this month. Total of 12 lbs for the whole pregnancy. I lost 13lbs in the beginning so im right at even basically.
Things are good. Baby is still measuring about 10 days ahead. We are gonna try for a VBAC. Im hoping it goes well. Doc thinks I will go on my own. Baby is head down and low already. He is already getting in position.
My only sad thing is hubby leaves on Sat. He got a job in Florida but the kids and I are staying here until we have baby Marshall. Then we will move to Florida. Has anyone had to do anything like this? Any advice. Im no stranger to being apart from him. We did long distance while he finished out his navy career and then went to college. Im just wondering pregnant how im gonna handle this!! Has anyone ever moved across the country with a new born ??
Any advice would be appericated!! TIA!!

I'm glad you posted this, I'm wondering the same thing?
We are more than likely moving from Texas to Wyoming after I deliver in 6 weeks. Either during the Christmas break or right after the 1st of the year. My husband has taken a promotion with his company that requires us to move.
I'm sure its going to be stressful, as moving always is. I'm glad that the company is paying for our moving expenses. That's one less worry. I think its around 18-20 hrs from here in Texas to Wyoming so I'm sure with a newborn, a 14 month old and a 6 year old we will be stopping very often! LOL! Thank goodness for my Tahoe and a DVD player!
Do yall already have a place to live once yall move?
Ash :)

Tanya,
Moving stinks anytime! I haven't had to move with a newborn, but my sister actually lived in New Orleans and had to flee from Katrina- She came and stayed with us. They lost their house and my brother in law lost his job. He found a new one, and they moved from UT to PA with a five week old infant! They did make lots of stops. They also had older kids too. My sister said that after driving away from the hurricane and then across the country she was done with road trips. She hasn't taken one since! Good luck.

I have no personal advice but my Mom moved when my oldest sister was 5 days old from Alabama to Virginia Beach. She was a first time 19 year old Mom...that was rough she said.
Hope all goes well and glad to know you are doing good!
