Motivation!

Alright, is total lack of motivation to do anything a pregnancy symptom? I mean, I know that there is fatigue, which I have. But the first time around I don't remember just really wanting to be at home and no where else. Right now I am working and in graduate school, and am finding my usual level of motivation to be gone forever. I have no idea what happened. Any thoughts or suggestions for getting it back? Honestly, I can't really choke half way through a semester, and work pays the bills. Any advice would be great! Hopefully I'm not being too petty asking!

Carrie, I'm sorry you're feeling this way.  About half way through my pregnancy, I felt the same way. The longer my pregnancy went on, the worse it had become.  Long story short, my doc insisted on blood work and turned out I was extremely anemic and in need of iron infusions. Even after 5 treatments, my numbers weren't getting high enough and we were going to talk possible transfusion. I didn't end up needing that, thankfully since my last infusion was on a Friday and I delivered that Sunday.  I think you should go have your labs run, just to see.  I hope whatever it is, that it clears up quickly and that you find yourself back to normal soon!
