symptoms of pregnancy
My husband and I have just decided to start ttc. Since this is a first for both of us, we picked up some books to help us figure all this stuff out. (Holy Confusing!) Anyway, one questions I had was how quickly do some of the symptoms start (eg sickness, tender breasts etc?)
Sorry if this seems silly, but I can't find the answer.
Clearly, other than the sex part, neither one of us has a clue!
Thanks for any answers
Chrissy
Depends on the person unfortunately! I started feeling sick this time at about 2 days past ovulation and I am 9w4d now and well still battling the morning (all day!) sickness. Breasts started to get sore about a week before my missed period oh and I was extra tired a week before my missed period too. This time around (I had a miscarriage at 11 weeks in june - blighted ovum, actually never really was a baby) I knew right after ovulation that I was pregnant. Just a deep down gut feeling - guess I was right! lol Good luck and happy TTC!!

Chrissy,
It does depend on the person. Both of my pregnancies I felt something was off really early, meaning that I had the symptoms before I could actually prove I was pregnant. This time, I felt things at 4 days past ovulation (DPO), although I tried to write it off as a number of different things. My breasts were sore, I had strange cramping, and I did have nausea. Luckily I don't do a lot of throwing up, but I have nausea off and on all day long. I also have big time food aversions. This is proving more difficult this time around, since I had not had my RNY until after my first pregnancy. But, I also know people who don't feel a thing until six weeks or so. It really depends!! Good luck TTC'ing!
