OT: Am I being a baby?
made the worst choice ever... switched to midnights so i can spend more time with him....yes... im with him all day now... however its not quality time.... im a walking zombie all time... ( i should have been to bed 2 hrs ago).. but cant cause hes up playing and nap time looks like its nowhere in the time coming...im going back to my old shift come jan..and will put him back with the sitter he had... i would rather be broke then miserable.
Yup, you are such a baby Vanessa. I mean raising 2 kids while hubby is gone. Sheesh how can you stand it? (Note: TONS of sarcasm here. I mean the words are soaked in it.)
Ya need to do what you need to do. I am a lucky one and for now, do not see day care in the future if we have a baby. I work from 7 to 12 or 1ish at night and hubby works 7:30 to 4 during the day. We are really blessed to have opposite schedules.
Good luck hun. Sorry I don't have any advice.

Vanessa,
Sorry I'm chiming in a little late. I grew up in a military family, so I saw my Mom do the Super Military Wife thing- it's a front in my opinion. I think the daycare thing is so hard!! Spending the money really sucks too. My daughter did the daycare thing for the first year or so- but I had a hard time finding one I liked and that we could afford, so I was lucky that DH was able to switch hours, so we work opposite shifts now. It has been working really well. It's the best way to go I think, if it's possible. I know it isn't always possible. Hopefully you'll find a good solution.
