bleeding update

ok so called my gyno and told him i was spoting on friday ...my appointment was not till 11/09!! so he told me to come in and get blood test done ...all he tested for was to confirm the pregnancy!..mmmm ok and did sonogram....OMG!! TINY LITTLE DOT WITH THE BRIGHT RAPIDLY BLINKING LIGHT!!!  saw the heartbeat!!... no other test or anything ....just told me because of my history ( three miscarriages one till 5 months ) he would put me on progesteron told me that i need it to carry the pregnancy but nothing else no test no questions on what am taking no blood test for defeciences ntohing?? very puzzled   i do see him again next monday he said will monitor closely but not to get to excited..until were actually further along....little blunt i knw but i love him hes one of the best also said he will not refer me to my high risk pregnancy doc yet if at all!! should i be worried ? i dont konw what to do or think excited and scared!

How far along are you? If the spotting was just a one time thing and no cramping probably nothing to worry about. I had some around 6 weeks out but it only lasted maybe 2 trips to the bathroom and nothing since. That's great that they saw the heartbeat!

Not all OB's have you see the high risk Dr - mine is ultra conservative and wants all of her bases covered. She too is very blunt but one of the absolute best in the area.
