Is it possible to conceive 2 days after a period?

Well, maybe not conceive 2 days after as I know some sperm can thrive for some time (not exactly sure how long as my search has led me to different answers).

I'd appreciate some input ladies

Some notes:

      Short cycle 25/26 days
       1st day of last P  10/1
       unprotected 10/6

-My breasts have been unusually sore for about a week.
-I've unconsciously went to approximately  20 stores searching for a rose scent (I usually hate that synthetic smell).  It was like an obsession - rose handwash, perfume, room fresheners, lotions - I needed the exact rose I needed.
-Finally, the lady at the Macy's Versace counter asked if I was pregnant.  Yeah, I was testing the Medusa fragrance that smells like , but not exactly


It is too early to test so that is not an option.

 Well, I'm not a charter, but it is possible to conceive even while you are on your period.

I can't keep everyone straight here but I know this question was asked maybe a week ago or so and someone said they got preggers like that. I have heard the little guys can live for 5 days after sex. You should be due for your period about the 25th or 26th so it might not be too early if you get a test.

I was the one who asked the question a week or so ago. You and I are pretty much in the same boat, except my cycle is not short. You and I both had unprotected the same day I also did on the 7th as well. My 1st day LMP was the 1st as well. I am having symptoms as well, but am PRAYING I am not pregnant. I did buy the test today but am not testing until next week. (Note: I just had a baby 9 weeks ago)

With a 25/26 day cycle, I am guessing -- even with a long LP, you wouldn't ovulate prior to like CD 10 (that would give you a 15/16 day LP which is on the long side).  So, although they can live up to 5 days, it isn't very likely with a 5 day cutoff.

And more likely, with a picture perfect LP, it would be a CD 12 ovulation day.  BUT, you can occasionally have an earlier O day.  I randomly O'ed on day 9 one cycle.

So, my guess is probably not, unless you O'ed earlier than you normally do.
