Ok...I feel like I have had every pregnancy side affect known to man. Week before last had BP issues last week was glucose test and now I am having bleeding rhoid problems. I don't want to be a hypochondriac but I really do have a rhoid that is not shrinking and I am using Preparation H the pain is better but every time I wipe I have blood spots on the tissue and my pantyliner has a smidge of blood on it as well. I know that it is from the 'rhoid so I am not worried about baby. I am being very diligent about my fiber intake and trying my best to fix it...

Question: Do I NEED to call the doctor? I know what is wrong, I am trying to treat it, I am trying to prevent further ones....At what point do I need to involve the doctor?

Thanks for your input. I don't want to be that crazy lady that calls every week ya know?

If it is painful, they can prescribe something called Proctofoam that really helps (and is safe to use during pregnancy).

LOL I feel that way too sometimes. As far as here goes, I just don't want ppl to think I am another Val.

I would call the doc to see if there is anything they can do for ya. As far as the fiber goes, nurse mom said you really need to be drinking when you take fiber since you need the water to help the fiber work. If not, then the fiber can actually bind you up. Go figure.

Good luck and that's what the docs are there for.

I shall now be know as Hagatha: Queen of the queens.

Could you sit in a tub of warm water to sooth your bum? Or get one of those things they give you in the hospital...they go in the toilet, then you sit on it and stick your bum in it and fill it with warm water?  I don't recall what they're called...but it might help.

Have you tried the Tucks pads?  You put it on your 'roid and leave it there, tucked into your bum cheeks?  Just squeeze a little of the excess moisture from it first if you're wearing light colored pants...otherwise it'll get your pants wet and look like you peed or sat in something wet.

Hope you find relief somewhere!
