Preterm labor at 26 weeks- I'm getting worried

Ok, ladies, I'm getting worried.  I started having contractions at 22 weeks and had to have turbutaline on 2 different occasions to stop them.  Last week my doctor put me on Procardia daily and progesterone injections weekly to try to make them stop.  My FFN test last week was negative and we'll do it again next Monday.  Things seemed a little better last week but I ended up at labor and delivery again yesterday with contractions and had another dose of turbutaline.  Luckily, when they checked my cervix yesterday there was no change.  So that does provide a little relief.  My doctor decided today to give me the steroid injections to help mature Gabriel's lungs.  I have to go back tomorrow for the second shot.  He doesn't want to put me off work yet, but we will do that if these continue.

I don't really have any questions, I just thought writing this all down would help me emotionally.  I've been in denial and have been trying to stay very calm through this as I know stressing will not help the baby or stop the contractions.  I just have to admit I'm scared and frustrated and feel really sorry for my husband because I seem to be taking it all out on him.

I told my husband that Gabriel is going to be grounded the day he is born for all this stress he's giving us.

Thanks I appreciate it.  I've been trying to be much more active on the board the past several days.  I had dial-up since we moved 3 years ago and just was able to get DSL or I'd have posted more in the past.  I've always read daily.  This is a very supportive group.
