Smile!
I can't believe it's been 6 weeks already since Alex's birth. We haven't been for his 1 month well visit yet as we are in PA visiting my family. He goes for that on the 26th. However, I imagine he is probably close to 10 lbs now if not over! My mom and I measured his length this morning and he was just over 22" long, up from 19.25" and 6lbs 12oz at birth!
He has also started smiling. Seems to have happened overnight too. All of a sudden I'm getting tons of smiles out of him and his eyes follow me around the room. He has me wrapped around his fingers too. He knows just what to do to get me to run to him, and I fall for it most times. I'm such a sucker.
Unfortunately, while we have been here visiting my family, Alex has gotten his first cold. He is so stuffy and sneezy, but no fever. So he gets aspirated on a regular basis so he doesn't sound like he is honking all the time. Doesn't seem to phase him though!
He is a great little boy and hardly cries, except when he is hungry.
Ah-Choo!

When Nathan got his first sniffles, the aspirator was a great help as was tilting the bead at the headboard part and using a cold mist humidifier...I frequent this still...just thought I would share...
Take care and I so cannot believe he is 6 weeks already....man does time fly!!!
