I'd take everything you've got! Go prepared.

My guess would be too as other ladies have posted that they will check the thickness of the lining of the uterus, check your ovaries for cysts make sure everything looks good.

I would also bring a list of any medications you are on with dosages, a list of your vitamins (and maybe both of these for hubby too just in case)

GOOD LUCK and keep us posted!

I went to an RE for infertility last december, they did an ultrasound just to check everything out, to see if there was anything that would/could cause problems...you'll be glad to know everything is okay or to know whats wrong once they check...

I think this is the first step to good things for you and if this person in an RE will help you have your little miracle, if not, can lead you to the right place!!!

GOOD LUCK...And hope the time passes quickly for you!

Thank you for being positive, I have spoke to her office and she is very positive that she is going to help me, the fact that I have gotten pregnant twice in 5 months, she said is a good thing, so they seem pretty sure that this is not going to be a serious issue...

I would highly suggest doing some background on the Doctor you are going to see... so you know what you are getting yourself into. You really should be seeing an RE... High Risk Doc isnt going to be able to do much.

Use Google it is one of the best tools. I still use it...

Good Luck.

Except we are trying to tell you. covered by insurance or not, that a high risk OB isn't going to help you.   The job of the OB is the prenatal care, not getting you pregnant or trying to figure out if there are issues.   That's the job of a reproductive endocrinologist.

From what you are describing, it sounds like this is an RE, but who knows.

We are trying to tell you that you should be concerned with the Dr.'s title because ultimately, if it is an OB, she's going to be sending you to a RE if there is an issue found.   So save yourself a step.

I am in MI and I saw a RE to get pregnant both times.   What's your Dr's name?   PM me if you don't want to broadcast it and I can try to help you.

If she sends me to an RE later fine, then she will, then atleast when I get pregnant again, which I know I will, because I seem to have NO problem with that part, then I will be going to see her again anyway...

Amanda,
I was able to get pregnant, I just couldn't stay pregnant. I was under the care of a high risk OB during this whole time. He did help me with doing lots of blood work on both myself and hubby to rule anything genetic out. He was AWESOME and said that he would help us to stay pregnant. He ordered a HSG and the radiologist said that if we are going to get pregnant this would be the month as the tubes are cleaned out etc. So low and behold, we did get pregnant that month and the dr. helped us to sustain the pregancy and I have an adorable 4 year old son. :)

If you want to chat, send me a message. Good Luck!!
