I am down 2 more pounds... 190 this morning for a grand total of -8 since getting pregnant... Honestly I wish that I could eat more so I could gain for this baby! I see the high risk OB tomorrow and will bring this all up.

Vanessa - holding steady is still better then a gain although I know it is frustrating!

Liz,

Your pregnant I am not and you lose weight and I don't. LOL well at least I know why I don't. I do great all week long, then the weekend comes and staying home I guess just makes me depressed so I eat a bunch. But your doing great, believe me you don't want to gain this early because when you do gain later (and you will) you want it to be a low # so it will be easy to lose! ((HUGS)) Vanessa

Liz, I wouldn't worry too much about losing. With Reagan I lost 18 and gained back 16. I delivered her at 206 and was 184 at my 6 week check up. I was 208 when I got pregnant with her. Too bad I gained 18 pounds in 18 months after she was born and a bunch more with Riley LOL.

THanks - that makes me feel better! The OB did tell me she was OK if I Didn't gain anything at all because I still have some "Reserves"

Thanks again!

I'm at -4 lost at 13 weeks and haven't gained. I'm worried too but my OB doesn't seem to be at all. If I haven't gained anything by my next appointment (I'll be 15 weeks), I'm going to be really worried and look for a second opinion if he still seems reluctant.

I lost 8-10 pounds during the first 18 weeks or so.  Now at 26 weeks, I am plus 4 from my pre-pregnancy weight.  The doctor is very happy about all of it.  He never was concerned about me losing in the beginning and he didn't make a comment when I gained 5 pounds in one week last month.  As long as baby is measuring fine, you shouldn't be super concerned.  Just keep taking your vitamins and trying to make healthy food choices when possible.  The week I gained five pounds, I had eaten a ton of chips and reese's pumpkins.  Bad choices= unhealthy gains.  Healthy choices = healthy baby

Weighed this morning. Shouldn't have. I had been down to 140, leaving me only 7-8 pounds to go. This morning, I am 146. What???

It has been harder to stay on track since my classes started 2 months ago. three days of the week, I work all day and have class in the evenings. So I will admit that I often eat "quick" things. but hell, it's not like I am eating Big Macs........they aren't terrible choices, just not the best ones.

Guess I need to watch a little closer, as I am now back up and almost have that damn 15 to lose again!

Arghhhh!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

WOW Jo! I wish I weighed 146 shoot I would be happy with 160/170 and I am 5'6, then at least I could wear a 10-12. Right now I am tightly an 18, yikes! I WILL get it off, I will get it off, I just keep repeating that to myself LOL
