Well I thought I did fine and did not have PPD. I am just as aggravated as ever at everything and anything. DH left today for another month so that doesn't help things. And I believe that I am getting migraines from what I have researched. My freaking head is killing me everyday from the time I wake up, yelling makes it worse and now I am actually getting nauseous from it. Holy **** a headache that makes you nauseous YIKES And I dont how or why but my scalp hurts I cant barely move my hair around. I cant live with this, its seriously sucking me dry. I dont feel like doing anything, I dont want to get out of bed and I certainly dont want to listen to whiny children. Yes I love my kids but I cant stand this headache. I called my PCP today but they were closed. I use to get headaches years ago but nothing like this. I dont know if that is what is making me anxious and pissed off. I just dont feel like dealing with ANYTHING, I dont even want to go outside, I haven't answered my phone today or returned texts, all I want to do is eat and sleep. I am on Wellbutrin and Ativan but neither are helping at all. Does anyone have migraines that make you think your crazy? HELP!I use to take Adderall and had a few left over, I took one and I felt great because I wasn't so tired or hungry but it didn't help the headache.

That is how I get with PPD. In fact I feel that way most of time when I am pregnant. Your headache could be from hormones. I wish I could give you some advice, but I really think you need to call your doctor. Good Luck getting through tomorrow. Do you have a relative close by that can help you with your kids until you can get your headache under control.

I was a cranky witch before I got my PPD under control.  I was never really depressed, just very anxious and cranky.  I had NO patience for my older son.  I used to have horrible headaches from hormone( long story) but don't really have any advice other than to get into the Dr asap and try to get a break with the help of family or a friend.  Even if it is just enough time for a quick walk or bath by yourself, it will help.
Take care,

My hip pocket diagnosis is PPD with migraine cluster.  I know you are going to get a hold of your doc, and that is the only advice I can give to you.  You may need different meds or new meds or whatever.  You definitely need something to help you deal with the migraine...I would ask for Fioricet...it is fairly safe and is not a narcotic, but it is a pain reliever that is used ONLY for migraines.

I am so sorry you feel crappy.  I hope that you can get some help from your doc and things get better fast.

sounds like migraines to me too - I get them and they are the worst! I can't imagine doing it with a toddler and an infant! LIke the others said get ahold of your Dr on moday. Might need a med change/upgrade.

Hope you feel better soon!

What do you take for it?

well while not WLS approved - I take 4 advil liquid gels (not while preggo of course) and a pepcid (to protect my pouch from the advil) also take it with something caffinated, it helps it to get into the blood stream faster and dialate the blood vessels according to my Dr. If you can lay down in a dark room with an ice pack behind your neck. Hope that the girls are easy on you today!

.... and with your scalp hurting (sore spots, i'd bet!) that's a classic, textbook sign of TENSION headache.

I've tried EVERYTHING (feels like it) for Migraine and oddly enough only got relief from Lortab and that's not a good road to travel long term.

Right now since i'm pregnant i've tried Fiorcet w/codeine, Percocet and Demerol. Different day, different headache!

Hope you get some relief soon!
