Have You Ever....
Been shopping with your non-walking infant and had a cart full of crap and desperately needed to go the restroom? OMG....today was like the third time that happened....I cracked myself up...I did not want to put him on the floor obviously....so I got my jeans down all while holding Nathan and went to the bathroom with him on my lap, etc. I was laughing the whole time....one of the two other times I did not have stuff in my cart yet so I wheeled the big cart in the bathroom with me....
Okay, just had to share my fun shopping trip today.....what stories do you have?

Yes !! Well kinda.....
I had Cooper in his baby-bjorn (front harness) and we were at an open house at Argonne National Labratory. We were watching a presentation on "mad science" when I had to *really* pee.
Because it was so busy my mother-in-law and nephews were sitting away from me and my husband was also sitting further away.
So I got up with Cooper and took him on his first potty-visit to the woman's restroom. It was odd peeing with him in my lap, but he didn't seem to mind. It was just hard to keep him from trying to touch things while in there!
Other times I have been able to time my potty visits to either before I have stuff in my cart or after I have paid for stuff..... and then I wheel him into the stall. Although one time the handicap stall was out-of-order so I backed the cart into a regular stall and I had to sit sideways on the toilet to fit both the cart and I into the little stall !!
The things we do !

OMG...YES!!! I never know what to do! I am not going to put him down, but what do you do with them until they understand that they have to stand there and wait! I just hold him while I go! It is hard to do...but I don't know what else to do when your cart is full! I have cut shopping trips short...that sucks too! One time When I went-I can't remember where it was now, but they actually had a little thing mounted to the wall (kind of like the changing tables...but for toddlers)...it was a chair that you could harness your child in while you go! It was SOOO neat and helpful! LOL!! The things mothers do!
