You and baby both will be fine.  There are lot's of women on here that have gotten pregnant way before a year and had healthy pregnancies and healthy babies.  Did you have RNY?
Call your OB and your surgeon Monday and let them guide you on what vitamins to take.
Congrats!

You will be ok.  You are probably much healthier today than you were a year ago.  You need to make sure you take your vitamins and get your labs checked on a regular basis.  Call to set up your appointment with the OB.  Many doctors won't schedule you for your appointment until 8-10 weeks since your last period, so don't  be surprised if you don't get an appointment right away.  Some people can get in sooner but not everyone.  Give your surgeon a call to see if they can do your labs and make any adjustments to your supplements that might be needed.

Take a deep breathe.  You and the baby will be fine.

I was 11 1/2 month out when I found out and my doctor was thrilled.  He knew we had been trying for 8 years + and his guidlines are 12-18 months post-op so I was pretty much there.  You will be fine and so will the baby.  Heck, mine is growing a little too well!  So relax and enjoy.

I got pregnant 4 months post op and did fine.  At a year out you should do well.  Like the others said, you are much healthier!  Your baby will take what it needs from you, and it isn't much right now.  If anyone will suffer, it will most likely be you.  And I didn't suffer anything except a 10.5 lb baby!  LOL.

Keep up your suppliments, switch to a prenatal (or add one - with folic acid) and keep up your liquids.  At about 12 weeks you'll want to up your calories a tad (200-300 healthy ones)  if you've been eating like you should.

Congrats and GOOD LUCK!!

Congratulations!  I'm sure you and the baby will be fine.  You're far enough out in your pregnancy to avoid most vitamin deficiency complications.  Talk to your dr and follow his/her instructions re blood work...and enjoy your pregnancy.  Welcome to the forum...there are a lot of wonderful women here who have a variety of experiences and can answer most questions you'll have.
