WTF is going on???

I had morning sickness at 7-8.5 weeks.  I never really vomited, but I was VERY nauseous, ate Cheerios's, toast and peppermint tea for a week and a half.  I was also having a diarrhea problem.  They checked me for e-coli, salmonella ect... but said the diarrhea was due to hormones and blah blah.

Well since about 8.5 weeks I've felt fine, eating normally.

Today I has some eggs in the morning, oranges for a snack, and when hubby came home for dinner I was VERY tired and very hungry, so he went and bought dinner.  I ate chicken tacos, which I get on a weekly basis and never, ever have a problem with them.  2 hours later I got soooo nauseous.  I went to vomit, and after a few "gags" I felt fine, only a little bit of water came up.

This has happened twice this week, after I've been off the Tamiflu.

Then I was starving again, got some graham crackers and tangerines and felt fine after that.

I am 13 weeks, could I still be getting some obnoxious reoccurring morning sickness?

Thanks
Karen

Each pregnancy is different. With my second child my all day sickness did not go away until she was born. Sometimes I would eat and then just thinking about what I ate would make me vomit. I am 15 weeks with this little peanut and I was sick 3 times today. Just remember it is so worth it in the end.

Good Luck,
Emily

My morning sickness has returned.  Not as bad as in the beginning, but it's back.  I am 29 weeks today.   So it can happen.

Also, with the gastric bypass (even almost 9 years post-op), I can eat something a million times and then eat it again and get extremely sick.  That's the way the surgery works.

Sorry to say that no rhyme or reason nausea goes with both the pregnancy and gastric bypass territory.

I am struggling with all day sickness but it definately gets worse when I am tired, maybe that was the case - or after 2 hours your stomach may have gotten empty and it was just ready for more food.

Feel better!

On Friday I didn't bring a lunch to work with me...so I stopped at Wendy's and got there chili (which I have never had before) one spoonful and I was running for the bathroom...needless to say it might just be somethings you will eat...

I would say calling it morning sickness is just a cruel joke. I have it when I have it all day and all night. I did not have as many issues in the begining of this pregnancy as I have the past month. My first I was so sick all day everyday I could bever lay flat even and that was the whole time I was pregnant until I had my son. Second one was sick off and on nothing major. This time I was sick to my stomach all in the begining and only actually threw up a few times in the begining and now its at least once a day. Feel sick a lot more often but I just deal with it. Its not easy but hey I dod what I have to do. I figure with being on mostly bedrest and taking now 2 shots of heparin a day and about 7 pills a day right now I can manage a little sickness. Had kidney infections and stones and had gallbladder surgery all in the past 4 months and I say feeling sick just is another GREAT :) benfefit of this growing baby girl. :) I sure hope it gets better for you!!
