Oh boy - thoughts and prayers headed out and up!!

Are you at the Hunterdon Medical Center? that's where I was born :) That's not too far from me - if you need anything let me know.

Sorry to hear you're stuck in the hospital for what could be quite a while...especially knowing you've got little ones at home...but hopefully the pay off will come in a few months with a healthy baby.  You'll have time to surf the net and look at all those things you always say 'someday I'll look that up.' Keep following the drs orders, and let us know how things are going.  I'm praying you keep on baking as long as possible.

Yanno Tricia, I was thinking about you this morning and remembering about how things went when I was hospitalized and still had little ones at home...and here is some food for thought...the only way that my OB would let me go home was if I could get someone in the home to help me 24/7 with my younger kids...since I was unable to do that, he put me in the hospital, because it is IMPOSSIBLE to be on strict bedrest at home with little ones and no help.  So, you might rack your brain and consider if there is someone out there who would be willing to come into your home and be your nanny and maid while hubby is not there so that you can truly comply with the bedrest...otherwise, I am afraid you are stuck in the Day Spa until baby comes :(

Just some food for thought!  Hope you are hangin in there!

hi everyone,
thanks for all the replies...you are all so sweet!!! well my doc came in and said i am here mostly for cervix  and contracting. he said i will stay here til i deliver ...due date feb 5th. geeeesh! he did the ffn this morning and it came back negative which is good. he then gave me the injection of the steroids to mature the babys lungs. i will continue my weekly progesterone shots and have cervix monitored as well as contractions...his goal is to get me to 30 weeks right now...and we will continue to do ffn every 2 weeks. i definately know i am in the right place and lucky my group is on top of everything. i want nothing but the best for my little girl...so what ever it takes!
today my husband brought up my 1 and 4 year old boys...it was great to see them! i of coarse miss them...and know its a huge strain on hubby...but hes great...no complaints...at least not to me...lol..i am blessed to have him!!! last year when this happened when i was pregnant in the hospitalized he took in the load...and he was just diagnosed with cancer during that time and even had a surgery in the midst of it all...so as of today i am calm and blessed! tomorrow another story...hahahahaha...i may have to vent...lol

liz ----are so sweet for offering...i am actually at RWJ (robert wood johnson0 in new brunswick , nj. how are you feeling these days?

laura------ i actually did hire a nannya few weeks ago so i had continuos coverage...but the doc wasnts me monitored closely here. which probably is the best since i am 1 hour away from hospital with out traffic. but thanks for all the suggestions!

thanks
tricia
