Hello Ladies

Sorry for the TMI, but since last thursday I have been discharging here and there something
that looks exactly like snot, last week it was not much but today it has happened twice
and its a bigger glob of it.
Is this the so called mucus plug thing I might be going thru?
There is no blood just mucus looking thing.
No pain so im guessing I dont have to go to the Hospital?

I would say normal discharge maybe cervix thinning and all. Kind of hard cause I have been dialated to 2cm and 75 effaced for 2 weeks now. I know mine never comes out in a huge glob but a little at a time and it just looks kind of gross like I blew my nose in there. :) I would just keep an eye on it. Nothing to worry about unless it gets weird colored or you are having pain or itching and all which would just mean infection maybe. Clear or whitish was how mine was and is still. :) Good luck!!

Sounds like you are starting to lose that ol' plug.  You don't need to go to the hospital for that.  :-)  It's just GROSS.  Mine came out in the biggest glob of goo ever!  (Last time, not yet for this preg)  My cervix is just starting to soften so we'll see what I go thru in the next few weeks with these girls.

Hang in there!

Hi Sandy

How are those twiins coming along?
I never asked are they identical or fraternal like mines?
I never experienced the whole mucus plug thing with my other pregnancies... so how long after losing
mucus plug should I expect labor..lol.

I lost my mucus plug at 33 weeks with my son...was dilated to a 3 and 100% effaced and had my son at 41 weeks after being induced. Some women lose their plug and go into labor shortly after some it can be weeks after. All women are so different...sorry not much help!
