Update on Doctor's Visit

Thanks, I'm hearing that its still early. I guess I was just hoping...

the only test i allowed was the first trimester screening...its called "nt"...its an ultrasound and some blood work...the real reason i did it was to see the baby again on the ultrasound LOL...but god forbid they did find something...i would be able to prepare... dont let them bully you...im so excited for you!

Thats the one they were sending me for but then they asked if the screening found something would I be willing to do amnio or some other cryo--something which had as much risk or more than amnio. When I said no they said the screening really wouldn't have any benefit if I wasn't willing to follow through unless I wanted to "prepare myself" for the possibilities. Like I said. I'd like to sit this next 7 months out with as less stress as possible. No thanks.

yay congrats!! I see the high risk OB on tuesday for a consult and ultrasound - thanks for the warning about the length of the appt! I'll plan accordingly.

SO glad that it went well. And don't let them bully you! It's your body and your baby - you call the shots!
