I gave in - need some advice from experts too

I tested tonight, and it was BFN. That is ok, I know this may be a slow process for DH and I. I also know that I am completely blessed to have my 2 little girls.

Here is my question. Before Isabella my cycles were 28 days. The 3 times I was late I was preggo. Well, last cycle was 29 days and this one will be too if AF comes tomorrow. Today is CD28. So is it normal for your cycle to flex a couple of days or does this indicate a problem? Granted it is only my 2nd real cycle since having Bella.

I had my first at 8 weeks postpartum, it was 1 1/2 days long
29 days later had cycle #2 9/17, usual 5 day heavy/light flow

Do you think this is something I should keep an eye on? Could it just take my body a few cycles to get back on track?

Just curious what you have all experienced.

Thanks!
Dawn

It's totally normal for a cycle to fluctuate.   I have clockwork cycles and every now and then I have had a few cycles that were a tad longer (or shorter).

Now if you get to a point where you are a week and a half or two weeks late, then I would start to question what's going on.

Are you temping or anything???

I think your body may just be attempting to get back on track...

Are you using any OPK's?

No, not temping- too hard with getting up with Bella at different hours. I did use opks and think I had a positive result on cd14, but took one later that day that wasn't - maybe the pee was too diluted, I don't know- maybe I didn't O this cycle.

I will use the opks again this month - I also gave a monitor somewhere that I might use again.

My cycles were usually 28-29 days. It varied and I think it would depend on what time in that day I started...Its totally normal for them to flucuate and I think your body is just getting back to normal for you...
