11 Week Ultrasound (Phaze out to new OB)
Hey Guys!
I just came in from my 11 week appointment. WOW.. is all I can say. I had a trans-vaginal and guess who we saw rump first ? LOL.. I was like oh wow.. showing mommy the good stuff already.. I saw the baby twisting and turning and flipping away.. my doc was like wow.. this baby is active. I lost the 5 pounds I gained so far in the first trimester.. so now I am back to where I was pre-baby. I know part of the reason for the weight loss was that as of recently I have some serious food aversions and have been throwing up after meals. Oh.. I heard the heart beat today for the first time.( I saw it on 9/23) I cried when I heard it. Finally someone graced us with the front and side portions before showing that rump again..lol.. so I was able to see the ears and the back of his/her feet. Since my Gynie doesn’t deliver, she could only assist with my first trimester. She is referring me to a different DR. I have to call tomorrow to make an appointment. She was telling me about some second trimester testing that I need to do. So.. I will keep you guys posted!

I've had 5 ulstrasounds and all my baby does is lay there. I keep hearing about bouncing babies at 10 and 11 weeks and I'm super jealous. My last one was at 10 weeks and he/she was still just chillin. I have one Friday and I hope it's bouncing around a little.

CONGRATS!! I just had my 11th week too yesterday and I thought it looked like a little gummy bear moving little gummy arms! I am a little jelous that you are breaking even with weight gain as I gained 7 pounds this month!! Granted I lost 3 during the second month and I quit smoing when I got preggers but still:) Again, Congrats nice to know there is someone at the same stage!!

I had my first u/s on Friday that passed (11 weeks 5 days). My little one apparently was just like yours....bouncing, flipping, summersaulting..for like the first 10 minutes. Then it finally chilled out and I guess went to sleep after sucking its fingers. I'm kinda jealous though. I still haven't heard the little buggers heartbeat yet. I asked at the u/s and they said they like to emit as little radiation to the area as possible but so if a strong heartbeat can be seen then they don't listen. But I asked my dr. and she said next time I come in she will use the doppler so I can hear it..super excited is I lol.
Continue to keep us updated. I love to read these baby happy tales.
