Like A Zombie!
Oh my...I'm 36 weeks today and I'm feeling very grateful to be at this point. By all accounts, everything is still going along well.
Over the weekend I sensed a change. For starters...I think the baby has dropped. He simply feels lower and a few people have commented that I look to be carrying lower. I'm peeing more often and very little is coming out. Baby Boy is enjoying kicking off from my ribs and head-butting my bladder. It's as if I'm a human pinball machine and he's the ball bouncing all around. It's really neat.
I've been super tired lately--barely functioning tired. My husband and I painted the nursery over the weekend, so I did kind of overdo it a little. But, still, I'm SOOOOOO zombie-like at this point. I'm looking at my schedule for tomorrow and wondering how I'm possibly going to have the energy to get it done.
Have others here been this tired at this point in pregnancy? I plan on asking my OB about it at my appt. on Wednesday.

Count me in on that. I keep telling people that my brain is broken. In the last week or two my body is feeling uber broken too. Baby finally dropped down for me too. I can tell because my back is constantly throbbing and I have constant pelvic pressure (not contractions but it feels like she's sitting right on my pelvis... probably because she is. ) We'll make it through!
Love, Riah
I was soooo like that the last two weeks I was pregnant with Kellen. I delivered at 39 weeks but I could NOT function - ie - barely take a shower and do my hair, get Holden dressed, fix him food, etc...from 37 weeks on. Thank GOD my parents live only 10 minutes away and helped me during the day as I HAD to go on maternity leave early because I couldn't function at work. I, too, was a zombie!
Now, with the twins, I feel like this already at 32 weeks. It's getting harder and harder to function as the weeks roll on and I hate to say it but I'm so hoping for an early birth. Besides being super exhausted, I'm swollen, itchy BEYOND belief, having contractions like CRAZY, and my knees and back are on fire. I feel bad for my boys!
Good luck and hang in there! Almost done!

I am so feeling like I am draggin butt now. I dont have energy and I dont even care right now. I think thats why we got everything done already cause I remember this stage before. I have been having terrible BH so I knew getting done early is best for us again. Already dialated to 2 and almost no cervix and baby girl is as low as low can be right now. Feel like she is falling out when I stand. So rest as much as you can. Take a nap. Dont let yourself get too sleepy and take all the time you need right now to get ready for that amazing baby boy about to be here. :)

yes... its horriable... uncomfy... and well just miserable... i remember when his little toes would get stuck in my ribs... and when he would poke my cervix... i had a biophysical the day before i had him.. he was so low you couldnt see his little face... just his chin and up.. and the feeling that my vagina was going to explode and any min put the icing on the cake... i hope this phase passes soon for you
