My doctor appt was this morning-update

I had what was to be my first OB visit at 8 weeks and the Nurse did my history and said, oh no, we can't see you here, you have to go to high risk...I asked the dr. over the phone if she could be my OB knowing my history, etc. and she said sure, if we need the high risk doctors, we can send you then. I was a little disappointed because I wanted to have a regular, OB experience and thought since my pressure was down, my diabetes was under control and my weight loss has been maintained it would be that way.Did I mention how absolutely exhausted I am??? <br />

On the good note, I got another picture of baby and all is well, the bean of a baby it is now. I'm understanding that they want to be careful with me because of my history, so I'm waiting to get the call for my referral where I guess I'll have my first REAL OB appt. sometime soon.<br />

They did do bloodwork and urine tests which they say they will call if there is any concern. Thanks for reading guys, I'll keep you posted.

Well thats kind of sad. I wish they could have helped you. Maybe they can get you in quick. :)

You know I'm technologically challenged. I will take a picture of the picture on my camera and see if I can post it. I make no promises of my abilities.

Yes, that was the highlight, seeing my little beanie baby! What a joy. I just keep cheering my precious baby on...grow baby grow! Hubby can't wait to see the picture...he had a separate doctor's visit this morning so he hated that. At least he'll have another chance sooner than we would have originally.

 Glad all is well with the baby! That sucks your hubby had to miss it. Like you said at least you will get to see that sweet baby again soon.

Sorry for the run-around, but glad the bean is doing well.  That 1st trimester exhaustion was really hard for me, all 3x.  There were days I wasn't sure I could hold my head up anymore (and days I napped in my car for 10 minutes @ work).  It gets better....really!
