Yea well I was a super exerciser for about 4 years of my post WLS life... then we moved, and the house is quite a bit farther from the health club and well I got complacent and lazy... and then put on 10 lbs... I wasnt overly worried about it... clothes still fit fine... etc... now... I land up pregnant..  A blessing for sure.  We had just decided it was time to try... bought a fertility monitor... and wala... what a waste of money that was!

So instead of waiting till after the baby I have decided to get back on the horse so to speek.  Recumbant Bike for an hour a day and daily walks... it seems as good of a time as any to make sure I am back in as much of a shape as I can be for pregnancy...

I am eating as healthy as a human meat eater can... All organic meats, and cheeses, lots of fruite and veggies, every 2 to 3 hours snacking on these things rather then 3 squares... I find if its possible that because of the bloat I feel a lot less like eating then before... that could be in my head tho... either way I am makeing the best choices I have made in a year or so...

I guess I am hoping there are some other folks out there that are far enough out as I am that may want to join me in a daily mommy to be activity and food log?  Let me know, we can compare notes... recipes or some thing...

I'm not as far out as you, but my goodness I need some accountability!!!  The fruit I'm craving is the only ONLY good choice I want...besides wheat bread.  As the morning sickness is easing, the food cravings are incredible...and the doctors don't want me gaining a pound(10 is the most i am allowed) because I am still in the 200lb range.  I too was an avid exerciser, and actually was until about June this year when I started working from home.  And here I thought working from home would actually be a good thing for my exercise...ummmm...NOT!

Its amazing how lazy you become, especially in this first trimester.  So I would love some accountability and sharing of food and exercise tips.  I have been trying to start out walking 30 mins a day again and I need to go back to swimming so I think I'm joining a gym closer to home(there was a gym in the building I work from)...:(

I am with you.  This first trimester is kicking my butt. I can't get a handle on my being tired.  I was running two miles a day and then weight training; stepper and all kinds of activities until about seven weeks....now I can hardly walk my dog around the block with out pure exhaustion!  I am typically a morning person and would work out everyday before work....now, I can't hardly get up.  I have tried to set my goal at 30 mins a day of some type of activity....seeing what you are doing...it's possible....just got to find that energy.  I keep thinking in my head that when my second trimester starts in a couple of days, I am going to get a huge boast in energy......that's supposed to happen right????  .    I am five years out from gastric, so my body has adjusted alot ot my surgery, eating, etc (so gaining weight is not been hard to do)....I got to get on track...maybe this is my test to do it!  Thanks for the post....got me thinking!!!  Stacey

I think what sucks the worst about this is the time of year combined with the lack of light in the morning is NOT HELPING... there is no leaping out of bed at 5:30 cause its light out!

OK So starting tomorrow afternoon I will log what I have done and injested and hopefully you two will join me with many more... Good luck ladies... I am rooting for us!
