Advice? Has this happened to you? BFN's, yet no period!

Glad to know I'm not the only one in this current situation right now!  We would still get a BFP even with another blighted ovum, right?  Could it be anything else?  Have you given up hope that you're pregnant yet?  I'm still holding on, although I know my chances are slim at this point.  If you happen to find out anything from your doc, please let me know and I'll do the same.  I've never been this late before.  Thanks so much!

I believe you will get a positive even if it is another blighted ovum, I did anyway last April when I found out I was pregnant.  You develop the placenta and amniotic sac just no yolk sac or fetus/embryo, and of course you get the symptoms if you are bound too.  Other than that I don't know what is going on this cycle.  I took another HPT on Wednesday and it was negative, so I am confused.  I don't know about having hope or not, I tend to "O" late in my cycle so maybe my dates are off, dunno?  I guess I could be still hoping until the ugly witch rears her head....LOL  Other than that I am not pestering my Do****il the end of next week if nothing happens.  I didn't get in to see him at the beginning of this cycle for my Clomid as he was on holidays and won't renew the script until he sees you....(grrrr)  this is twice this has happened now.  And when I do see him, he just looks at my basal chart and writes out the damn script.  So frustrating.  I tried using Soy Isoflavones this time, it is a Soy  product (herbal) and it is supposed to act like clomid if taken the same as Clomid.  This may have buggered things up for me, who knows.  Good Luck

Hi, just wanted to say (if it wasn't mentioned already) that it is possible to have a +OPK but not ovulate or still have a late ovulation. Not everyone ovulates every single month. It doesn't sound like you're doing temping, but if you do- it would show when/if you ovulated. I had +OPK last cycle and never ovulated, and its looking like it may be the same this month (even tho the previous months I was getting +OPK and confirming ovulation with temps).   I do hope you get the BFP you are looking for, but just giving some alternative answers as to why else you might be late.
