Bloodwork and Ultrasound update
Hi Ladies,
Went yesterday and had more bloodwork. My HCG IS AT 7000. So we went tonight at 6pm for another ultrasound to see if we could see something. Friday, the gestational sac was measuring 4.5wks and today measured 5.4wks. Then it was looking like there wasn't anything in the sac.... but after fiddling around a little more we saw the top and bottom outline of the yolk sac... and then at the very bottom on the right there was this tiny little flicker. It was very difficult for her to put the heartbeat monitor thingie on it because it was so small... (literally just a flicker.. no baby body or anything) and the heartbeat was about 97 bpm. She said that is normal for this gestational age. It will increase as the baby grows.
She made me a video clip of 2 segaments of the ultrasound session... no pics because you really wouldn't be able to see anything without the motion of the flicker. I will see if I can post it somehow... but I think I left it in the car and I am in my jammies and it is cold and rainy out. LOL So it will have to wait until tomorrow.

P.S. We have slowly come around and the intial shock has worn off. Still not mentioning it on FB ... we don't want Jer's parents to know yet. So were waiting. A few of our local friends know.. and you guys on here. But that is it.

I'm glad things are looking good...and that you both are coming to the point of wrapping your minds around another baby. You're gonna love this baby as much as the others - you just have to get over the surprise of it!
