Tubes Tied??

Has anyone gotten their tubes tied with their c-section?  Any other complications come from that? Or know anything about it from friends or family that has hda it??

I hadmy tubes tied after my last one (#8), so It was time...lol  I did't have any problems out of the orindary.  I had the same pain as always after having a baby, so whether it was due to the tubal, i will never go.  I will pray for you because it is a very hard decision.   It is so permenent.   It took away the one thing that I had control over that my hubby really did not...lol   I mean...He was always very happy when I got pregnant, but for me...it has made my sex life much more enjoyable because I  never worried aoutit@  H hope this help some!

 My SIL got a really bad infection after getting her tubes tied with her c-section.  They pretty much take your insides out to do it.  She was in the hospital for a few days after.  However, I know there are a ton of women who have never had any issues.

Im considering it too. Still havent made a decision. Im just worried cause once its done its pretty much done.

I had mine tied after my section.  The only thing I noticed it seemed there was a little more swelling than with my other 2 c-sections.  You just have to know it is time.  I knew for me, we were done.  I had just turned 40, 3rd baby, we got our boy etc....!

I had mine tied in 2003 with our section child.  Now I want it reversed so I can try to get pregnant again!!!!  I had absolutley no complications with it, very simple procedure to have done -- especially w/ the c-section!

I had it done with my last c-section. TBH, I regret it. If I could go back to that day, I'd say forget it & use birth control. I wish we could have another baby. I've regretted the tubal since I got it done last year. You need to be sure it is what you REALLY want...that you are DONE and want NO more kids.....

I did with my last baby(4th baby) It was time..I am now 40... anyway It was painful.. I feel like my peroids were heavier and more painful the 1st few months.. but now its all the same:-)
