Question about IUI and Clomid
So, I'm still in the 2WW from my first IUI since my daughter. I remember that I had some cramping and stuff for a few days, but I am still really bloated, my uterus muscles are tight, and my breasts hurt. Of course these could all be signs of early pregnancy, but I was wondering if they might be from the IUI/50mg of Clomid I took. Anyone out there had a similar experience? I did take a test today, although it is early I think, and of course it was negative. I plan on retesting later in the week. AF shouldn't be due until closer to Friday or Sat- but she could be off too. Just wondering if anyone else had this level of discomfort. They say it is a painless procedure, and it was, until after. Thanks for the support!!

With my IUI's, I take progesterone all the way up until the first blood test. The progesterone mimicked pregnancy symptoms. But, I never had any pain with my IUI. In fact my doctor recommended us to go home and BD the night of your IUI and the next two days to make sure to try to get the egg :)
Now thinking back I did have one of my IUI's that hurt. He had trouble getting the catheter in. It was weird he worked on it for about 10 minutes and was moving the speculum (I think that is the right word) around while he tried to insert it. I did have some cramping for two days after that one but nothing major.
I wish you all the luck in the world.
