FREAKING OUT - CONFUSED

Ok everyone knows I am starting IUI#5. Well, I started clomid yesterday and today. Tuesday I had spotting, Wednesday I had dark old blood when wiping, and then Thursday I had red flow all day long. I took a pregnancy test on Tuesday & Thursday and it was negative. Every time I went to the bathroom Tuesday-Friday I would have small pieces of something (maybe like lining). I talked to the doctor about it yesterday and he said sounds like you are on CD2. I have had kind of brown spotting all day yesterday. I had my ultrasound yesterday to check ovaries and uterine wall and got the go for IUI.

Well, since I haven't been my normal self (normally heavy heavy flow on my periods), hubby said to take a pregnancy test today to ease my mind since I will be starting injections tonight. Well, it was POSITIVE!!! I am so confused!

I am not excited and over the moon, yet. I of course left a message for my RE and we will see if he calls. I just don't understand it all and not really going to get my hopes up yet. Wondering about taking clomid and not even sure if I am trying to have a miscarriage right now. Just don't understand it all!

**edited Talked to RE and he said stop all meds and come in on Monday for a pregnancy test. He doesn't want me to take progestrone in case I am not pregnant. So, we shall see what happens.

Congrats Tracy. I want to be over the moon for you, but the doc needs to check you out...Not to scare you, but many ectopics start off with a late BFP after bleeding. I truly hope it was just implant bleeding, though. You will be in my thoughts and hopefully the news is great!

Ann,

I am not over the moon at the moment. I am cautiously optimistic. I just wi**** wasn't Saturday so I could get checked out and get either a yes or a no and move on :)

I know this off topic Ann, but you live in the same "city" as my in-laws. Never thought I would see someone from that small little place on here.
