Antibiotics are working....but ugh---they make me sick(no good switching- it's like that with all of them) I know they're  working because I'm getting a killer yeast infection...icky...and I don't have any pain anymore....again, yay.

Poor Niko is sick again.Well, not really sick...he's got that fever back. Nothing else...no snot, no ear infection, no diarhea....just the fever. I thought it was because he had his shots on Monday, including his flu shot(not H1N1)....but, it's still hanging on. He's really chomping on things. Maybe molars?

In other news, Dave got his referral to get snipped today. It will be done soon...even if this pregnancy doesn't end up being viable. I'm okay with that. I would be sad if we lost this baby, but right before I found out we were pregnant, I'd started to feel okay about Niko...pretty dang blessed actually. So that is that.

I don't have another OB appt until 10/20....so just waiting.

Angie

The last time I had to be on heavy duty antibiotics (which ALWAYS make me sick), my PCP told me to eat three yogurts (with live cultures) a day, plus drink two glasses of cranberry juice.  I don't know if it was magic or what, but I did not get a yeast infection!!!  Maybe that regimen would work for you!

Sorry to hear your little one is not feeling well.  Molars coming in can defintiely cause a low grade fever, though.

xoxo,
Tricia

I am glad to hear that you are feeling better.  I always get a killer yeast infection with Antibiotics too.  I am thinking that the yogurt trick might work or at least make it less  "killer".

Take care...

Glad you are feeling better over all...Yeast infections during pregnancy seem so easy to get..it's bad enough when you just take antibotics...then add pregnancy hormones...it was bound to happen.  Poor Niko...my DD runs fevers and gets a small rash when she teeths.  Good luck on the man issues...Still waiting to see when is the right time (i.e. if more kids are in the future).  But HE is definately having it done.

Oh Angie, I was just thinking of you when I cleaned our bathroom. Nice, huh? But I know you understand.

Glad you're on the mend finally. I swear by Pearls brand probiotics. Had my 1st ever YI after RNY and those tiny pills made all the difference.

Sorry the mystery fever is back for Niko. How's school going for his brother? I bet they miss each other during the day.

Hugs,

Jo
