bloodwork done every 3 months during the pregnancy to make sure vitamin levels are ok and then this is what I take:

1 chewable centrum
1000 mcg sublingual b12
500 mg chewable vitamin C

then 3 separate doses during the day of Calcium Citrate 630 mg (so 1800 mg, but I've heard we only absorb 500 mg's at a time, so 1500 mg in that case)  and that CC has vitamin D added in with it also, for increased absorbtion of the CC.

bedtime (at least 2 hrs after my CC) I take a prenatal vitamin and a folic acid

Hit goal weight of 140 at 13 months out from RNY!! 130 pounds GONE!

My recommendation would be to have your blood drawn first with whatever you are currently taking. I was really surprised that I was absorbing so well- I've been able to take a little less of some things, like B12 and iron, which I have always had a ton of and am still going strong. I think that's a really good way to go. That way you can specificaly add what you might need without over doing it,especially with a baby in there. You don't want high levels of vitamins to complicate the pregnancy. As for me, I take a prenatal vitamin, calcium citrate, and an extra folic acid right now, which acoording to my blood levels is perfect. We'll keep a close eye on them, just to be safe. Of course, I'm not pregnant (Well, maybe) and am in my 2WW. Good luck.
