I am a mean mommy.....
Oh Cindy,
I know you already received some great advice, but GEEZ your posts make me laugh! I hope you're saving these and adding them to the book you're going to publish. Seriously.
Dropping a baby, letting them roll off a couch, or table, these are all rights of passage (unfortunately). With my oldest, I clipped his fingernails way too short @ 1 month old and some of his fingers bled. I nearly passed out from the guilt and sickness of it all. I was MAJORLY uptight as a new mom of a baby with colic. With my daughter, my DH was changing her on the kitchen island and she rolled off, onto a chair, and onto the floor with the chair. I was still pretty uptight and controlling of how my DH parented her. Oddly, I am completely relaxed with Everett and either I've learned from mistakes, or he is just a different baby, but he has yet to have any accidents like that....yet. I'm not condoning it or anything, but thankfully babies are somewhat more durable than we think.
He's adorable and Everett really wants to meet him so they can babble and drool together
Smooches to Cooper and hugs to you!
