I would call your surgeon and OB to make you feel better and get more and better advice.
Your baby will get all they need from you first, it's your own body will suffer a little. Right now, they are the size of a grain of rice and don't need much. By 2nd trimester you'll need to up the calories by about 200-300 though.
Start by either ADDING or SWITCHING to a prenatal vitamin with folic acid and keep up on all your other suppliments. Just do your best to remember to eat.
CONGRATS. It's gonna be ok. Call your surgeon and nutritionist and talk to them.
GOOD LUCK!
Sandy
You will be just fine! I got pregnant at 2.5 mo post-op (note: on accident!!) and I am currently 27+ weeks and baby is measuring ahead so all is well! I feel great now and I really can't complain. I have to see my OB every other week just to be safe and they are switching me to weekly appts at 32 weeks. I get a lot more ultrasounds just to make sure baby is growing as it should. I still have not gained a pound. I am still slowly losing. Here is a list of all the vits and other things my Nut required me to take in daily:
Iron
C
D x2
Calcium x2
Folic Acid
B12
B6
Prenatal
80g protein
64 oz H20
32 oz milk (goes towards required protein and liquids)
It's a lot of work but you get the hang of things!
Good luck!

I know a bit about unexpected PG after WLS, and your baby (and you) will be all right. I conceived VERY early out and my little boy is almost 5 months old now and a true blessing in every way!
I'm sure you've received some good advice about taking all your supplements, adding folic acid, as much water as possible, complex carbs and having your labs done every 2-3 months to make sure your levels are all right. Your nutritionist and OB can work together to ensure your caloric needs are met for you and baby.
This is a great place for support, advice and those who have walked the path your walking. Ask questions and take lots of deep breaths. Try to enjoy this little miracle you are growing and the fact that you are going to be a Mommy!

Jo
