and the verdict from the Dr is...........

early stages of bronchitis!! So glad that I Went in - I am super stuffed up and he could hear the starting of the rattle in my lungs. Starting Amoxicillin tonight for 10 days - he said that it was perfectly safe for the baby. It is the lowest dose 500mg. That combined with lots of fluids and rest and he said I should feel better in a few days, and if I don't I need to see him again on friday. He also wanted to run B12, Iron, CBC, TSH and was more then willing to add the HCG and Progesterone and send it over to my OB. He is also checking B1, kidney and liver enzymes.

So I am off to do just that!

will do - should have it thursday (maybe slim chance tomorrow) I know it is only 1 number but at least we can see if it is in range or not.

glad you went in!!! That is what I had last spring. I was SO SICK for like 6 weeks - was living off of robitussin then I went into preterm labor - I am pretty sure from coughing my ass off and NO ONE would listen to me!!! Glad your Doc did!!!

I stopped by work the other day and noticed that my cough syrup was STILL sitting on my desk from the day I left on emergency maternity leave - 5/7/09!!! Ugh! Like I said - so glad you don't have to go through all of that!

Let us know what the HCG is! :) It always made me feel better to have the counts done - just gave me reassurance! :)

Thanks Dawn! The Dr said that there is a really bad strain of bronchitis going around our area right now and he didn't want to take any chances with me being early in my pregnancy - all for the caution!

lol @ the cough syrup! Lets hope that it isn't needed for a loooooooooooong time after you return to work!

45 min...but my Brother in law lives in Palmer Twp and my cousin has a store on 11th and Lehigh in Easton.  So we are down there quite a bit.  :)
