New weirdness...
Ok so you know how I have been feeling the little one a little less these past few days? Well today I had over all abdominal pain, for a few minutes. I went to the kitchen and grabbed 16 oz of cold water and downed what I could, and it went away. I am assuming I was a bit dehydrated and those were "contractions", at least as much as you get them at 24 weeks. I will be more careful. But all day I have been having roaming abdominal pain. It's kind of like a localized throb, and it moves a lot. I am thinking these 2 things go hand in hand, that the baby (thank God) has moved further up in my uterus (she kicked me so much and so hard in the cervix one day she made me so sore and I had some spotting!) and that the roaming pain is me not being used to her being up there? She's not in my ribs or anything, just bellybutton-ish, though the pain is a bit lower then that. What do you think?
Oh, I know THAT feeling!! My son was standing on my cervix with his head against my diaphragm until 36 weeks when the Dr. turned him...it sounds to me that is very similiar to the new sensations I got when he was in the "right" position. I remember being worried because I was a little more comfortable and thinking he wasnt moving as much...thank God your little one moved before it was "big" (relatively speaking) like mine. I would still keep my "sensors" out and if you feel there is decreased movement...contact the OB. Best of wishes to you!! -Jen Q.
