I am so freakin sick of being nauseous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WISH I could have a stinkin craving. Food.... ugh just the word makes me cringe. Everything makes me nauseous. Hunger, eating, meat, stress, stressing about eating, stressing about how long I'll be nauseous this time, stressing about how long it'll be before I'm nauseous again. I'm so freaking jealous of those women who can eat!! Nothing sounds particularly good and there's not much I can choke down. My house is a freakin MESS because I'm too tired and too nauseous to clean it and DH is doing what he can but he's pretty helpless when it comes to cleaning. It's week 10, how much longer can this crap last???

Side notes: baby is doing fine per US last Monday, not gaining but not losing weight, no vomiting just ick ick ick nausea.

I was on a website earlier where moms were posting. They were talking about how they were/are showing at 10-11 weeks. My grouchy, nauseous instinct tells me to tell them to put down the cupcakes and it can't possibly be the baby... but could it? I mean, I can feel my uterus when I press down but I'd hardly say I'm showing.

I want to be one of those happy, glowing pregnant women. I do have the rosey cheeks but I'd hardly consider myself pleasant or glowing.

And why on earth are my friends rubbing my stomach already??? HELLO they know how far I am and they all have kids. They know the only thing they are rubbing is my FAT. BACK OFF MY FAT!! And no you cannot put your hand on my pregnant uterus that is barely above my vag!

End of grumbles.... help on the legitimate questions would be nice :-)

OMG you said vag!! Hilarious!!!

I felt like ass up until about 18 weeks. I can honestly say the 1st trimester was the WORST for me! I didn't want to eat anything and I was sooo lazy and tired all the time w/ no sex drive. It totally sucked! I feel like a million dollars now compared to my 1st tri! I hope the same happens for you but I'm sure the thought of another 8 weeks feeling the way you do now makes you want to **insert action here**!! Sorry and I really hope your honeymoon period comes sooner than mine did!

I agree that some women mistaken their own pudge or even bloat for a baby bump but I have also seen some skinny ladies that actually start showing that early out! It's crazy! I just started showing to everyone else in the last few weeks. Finally!! I'm sure the maternityclothes help also.

Good luck!!

LOL!!!  I felt the SAME way!  LOL!!!  I think those women are BLOATED, not showing.  Especially if it's their first babies.  So no telling them to back off the cupcakes.  HA!

I was so nauseated the first trimester.  By week 12 I was experiencing the "I don't feel pregnant anymore" stage.  Now, I'm just fat and miserable.  :-)

I HATED when my friends would rub my belly at like 10 weeks!  I'd tell them they're rubbing my fat and that the baby is WAY lower...but they didn't care, they even TALKED to my belly at 10 weeks.  People are WEIRD.

Good luck and hope you feel better!

I know how you are feeling, I am very tired. I can not keep up with the house and my poor kids have been eating casseroles for days. I cannot even stand the smell of meat. Luckily I have pre-made casseroles in the freezer.  I just do not remember being this tired with other pregnancy but then I did not have 3 kids to care for the last times either. I know it will pass. Good luck and try and remember the end result is so worth it.

I wrote a post almost exactly like yours about 2-3 weeks ago!!!  And those ladies are just having the bloated part of pregnancy right now, the baby is too small to be pushing out the belly yet.   The real baby belly starts showing at around 20 wks (and earlier if it's your 2nd, 3rd, pg etc).   I am 12 wks and am starting to get a little belly, but I know it's just bloat and water weight.   But I haven't gained any weight yet, just yo-yo'ed back and forth with 3 pounds.

One thing I read and then noticed is that I'm not AS nauseated if I keep myself hydrated.  Meaning I at least drink 50 oz of water a day, I'm not gagging as much.  And when I start gagging and get to the point I might throw up, I pop in a ginger Altoid and that saves the day!!  I used them when I was pg with my 2nd baby and it worked then too.   Ginger has a calming effect on the stomach for morning sickness, motion sickness, and just any queasy feelings.  I had to order mine online because they are hard to find, but so worth it to have em now!

You just wait though, when you start feeling a little better- you get so hungry and feel like a complete PIG!  I am starting to feel a little better now and I feel like I am eating more than I should- but then I'm hungry like an hour later!  I think it's cuz the baby is growing so quick still and that I'm feeling better, so I want to eat.   And it's just things that I crave too that I go overboard with- especially salad bars.   I love pizza right now and can eat like 3 slices!!!

It will end soon I bet.  Just let your house go and clean what you can when you have energy.   You'll have to do the same thing when the baby is born, you'll just have to take care of the bare minimum each day to get by!!  Your energy will come back around the middle of the 2nd trimester, at least it did with my other 2 pregnancies.   But then you get really tired again the last month of the pregnancy.    GL!!!

I'm 8 weeks and feeling the same way....I get nausea when my stomach is empty....so i'm having to keep crackers/pretzels with me at all times.  Its so hard to get up in the mornings to go to work and when I get home I head straight for the bed......we just got to hang in there....but yes, this is tough!!!

I actually have some ginger altoids in the back of my pantry. For Christmas, DHs stepdad always gives us a big box of gifts, lotto tickets, cash, and candy. I saw them this past Christmas and thought "EEEEEEEWWWW". They've been sitting back there ever since. I'm so trying them when I get home.

Yeah you know the ginger altoids don't taste the greatest, but they help me so much when I start gagging or get the feeling of throwing up.   I have tried crystalized ginger (sooo nasty) and other ginger candy and the altoids are the ONLY thing that work for me.   I pop one in my mouth and within like a minute or two I feel better!   GL!

I KNOW how you feel. I have been VERY SICK this whole time.  I was very sick and throwing up for the first (about) 20 weeks.  Then I got a break for a few weeks. Now it is back!!!  So I know what you are feeling and there is not much you can do. My OB has prescribed Phenergan for me, which is a anti-nausea medicine. But it makes me SO sleepy that I only take it if I need it bad!!!

People are always rubbing bellys... no matter how far along you are... its still weird. (my opinion anyways) LOL
I also wish I was a happy pregnanat women... but instead I am left LITERALLY counting down the days until my c-section. 75 days left for me...   :-) Sorry couldnt give you more positive comments. LOL
Good luck with your pregnancy! And Congrats!!
