Dr. appt today

I went in for my appt today and they finally acknowledged that I was right on with my dates (duh) so I am 10.5 weeks today.  They did change my due date to April 25.  I asked the mid wife to try and check for the heartbeat and she told me not to panic if we couldn't find it, which I knew, so I promised I wouldn't panic LOL. 

She searched for a minute or two.  My mom was with me and for literally ONE second we heard a little "Swish Swish" then she lost it.  She said the baby is probably moving around a lot.  So she said next appt we will absolutely be able to hear it!!

She said everything seems great and normal.  The next ultrasound I get is the gender one at the end of November!!  I wish I could get one from now til then but I will manage.  I do have to give a stool sample---yay--- because I still have diarrhea. 

I also told her about the pain in my groin area I've been feeling and she said it was normal and it was "round ligament pain" which means I have a lot of pain when my uterus is stretching out.  O and good news, it only gets worse as the pregnancy goes on.  Woo Hoo!

So all in all it was a good, uneventful appt.  I did gain a pound in a month, but I guess that's ok!

I'm glad you could hear the little pitter patter - fleeting as it was.  It's the most amazing sound!  I can't wait for your November ultrasound.  I hope the stool sample proves that everything is a-ok.  I had the opposite problem for 9 mos.  Not sure which is worse

glad all is well... that sound is so wonderful :).... i have diarrhea as well...its not the explosive flu type... it comes as i would poop normally its just very loose... dr said its one of those rare preggo side effects..
