surgery date

Hello to all, this forum is new to me. I have a RNY surgery date of Nov 13th, however I have a 9 month old I'm still breastfeeding. I'm not really ready to wean him yet and he really doesnt like a bottle. Just concerned about surgey dayand wondered if anyone else had beenin this position. Any info will be helpful!! Thanks

I am not sure but I wanted to say good luck. You should probably ask your surgeon and your LO's Doctor.

I don't think it will hurt you to breastfeed but its pretty likely that your milk wil dry up soon after your surg as an auto reaction from the weight loss. Good luck!
