SOOOO Glad you made the appointment and I hope you get some relief.  Even 1 liter of fluids can make a HUGE difference.  Keep us posted!  You can ask them to check your urine for ketones - also a sign of dehydration.

Hugs,

Thanks Jo! I'd much rather be safe then sorry. My PCP is great so I am sure they will be very proactive. While I am sure this is all normal - I am nervous to begin with since the miscarriage so I'd rather get checked!

I'll let everyone know tonight how I make out

Hope your appointment eases your anxiety and your dizziness!  I got extremely dehydrated during my first pregnancy (before wls), which triggered vertigo and a brief hospital stay.  It was really scary.  So post-wls, I'm really anxious about making sure I get in all my fluids...which is a struggle for me, since I know dehydration can happen so much easier now.  I hope whatever your issue is is an easy fix!...Natalie

Ok, I am confused...because I guess I am not sure what running your HCG has to do with fixing the dizziness or sinus problems or your generally not feeling well problems.

And quite honestly, it will most likely cause you more anxiety than relief at this point in your pregnancy.  It will be a completely arbitrary number with nothing to gauge it off of (you don't know what it was two days ago or two days from now, etc.). (edited to add, this is what long term TTC'ers describe as BETA HELL -- it is no fun).

It isn't going to fix anything other then the worry. I will feel better knowing that the number is in a range that is considered normal for where I am at in the pregnancy. If it is off then I am sure that the Dr will order another round in a few days to check and see what is going on. I am going to have blood drawn anyway to check my B12 (something that is notoriously low and whenever I am not feeling well I have them check it just in case) so if i am getting poked, why not have them check it. Seeing that this would be the first number I would ever have had given to me I have nothing to compare it with other then what the Dr would tell me what is in range. Knowing that the number is in the rough area where it should be WILL make me feel better even if it sounds silly.
