When it comes to pregancy and something doesn't feel right its always an emergency.
Take care of yourself and the baby no matter what the cost.

Just keep trying the Dr. to see what he/she recommends, but if something doesn't feel right to you, go and get checked out to be on the safe side.
I will say that I had spotting, red spotting, at about 10 weeks. They could never explain it and as you can see, I am still very much pregnant and doing just fine.
Dehydration:
Concerning your pregnancy - The biggest concern with dehydration during the 1st trimester (and the beginning of the 2nd) is that it can limit the amount of anmiotic fluid around the baby and this can lead to deformities and abnormalities in development.
Concerning WLS - However, dehydration can lead to nausea and persistent vomiting. Also, persistent vomiting can lead to dehydration and electrolyte imbalance.
Dehydration and vomiting can become a vicious cycle and lead to vitamin deficiencies. It may even be necessary to return to the hospital to receive IV fluids and vitamins. Also keep in mind that dehydraytion can cause uterine cramping or contractions. YOU NEED TO BE HYDRATED!!!
Suggestions: Even if you drink 1 tiny half an ounce every 5 minutes, you will be doing yourself and your baby some good! No one is saying you have to gulp down anything at all. Tiny sips add up.
Also, to know where you're at, get a half a gallon (64 oz or 2 qt) jug and fill it at the beginning of the day. If you're going to class or something, fill a water bottle from the jug. If you go to work, fill your water bottle from the jug. If you're drinking some water at home, fill your glass from the jug. At the end of the day, the jug should be empty.
Bleeding is very common during the 1st trimester! Little bits and even a little bit more. The concern is that you have the bleeding (even pink) in conjunction with other symptoms and when you add them up it's not good to ignore them. I bleed during my first and third pregnancy during this time and didn't like it any more than you do.
Bottom line: Yes, go to the ER! Good luck, sweetie.
