Ladies....its a BOY!!

So I went in for my US yesterday and, after like 30 minutes on the stupid table and not able to see the screen, the tech finally turned it to me and hubby and showed us the little outdoor plumbing. Suddenly this pregnancy feels so much more real to me. As if he (god its great to be able to say he) knows, he's been kickng up a storm in the last 24 hours. We are just so thrilled. I think hubby is happy its a boy too. He would have loved a girl too OC but he is so excited to think about all the things he can do with a little boy. He's an engineer so he loves the thought of legos, chemistry labs, and erector sets! For my part, its a nice ( and kind of proud) thought that I will be giving the man I love a son and that my future kids (fingers crossed) will all have their big brother. Its also nice that Jason's grandfather will see his name live on in a boy. He's southern and that's always been important to him despite his claims to the contrary. Mostly I am so thankful that he is healthy looking and growing well. I was looking at baby pic of my husband the other day. He was so cute!! I hope our son looks just like him. Good ness!  I can't believe how much I love this baby after just one day! I think the emotional block is almost gone although I still don't think I'm gonna have a shower till after. Thanks again to all of you for being so supportive when I'm feeling crazy. Baby dust and sticky beans to all!

Congrats!  Boys are fun...you'll love having another 'man' around the house! (Not that girls can't be fun...but I haven't had one of them to compare with!).

CONGRATULATIONS....boys are so much fun....I was the only girl growing up in the middle of boys and now have two men I am living with (with the same name Godforbid)....I was happy to have Nate's family name carried on too.....and I hope God will bless us with a little princess too....

Your part about your husband being an engineer and loving the building etc. made me laugh a little....my older brother got an erector set for Christmas one year and our parents use to tape record (yea, we are old) our conversations when we opened gifts....my brother kept saying repeatedly "I LOVE my Erection Set! I LOVE my Erection Set!".....we still tease him to the day....lol

So happy for you.....and oh, I was so worried that all I saw were these CUTE girlie things (which I love) but there are TONS of boy cute stuff too.....

Take care!
