Embarrassing question - hair removal before birth

So I want to be as confident as possible going into the stirrups in the birthing room – I was fine with my first, okay with the fact that a large majority of women have a bowl movement while pushing and most of the time aren’t even aware of it – fine with being spread eagle (I got even more fine as the contractions progressed), and I didn’t really mind strange nurses sticking their digits in to check for progression regularly… but hair bothers me. I can groom the lady triangle just fine – but hair does stray and I’m considering getting a Brazilian when time draws nearer… has anyone done it?

Just thinking about being on a table on my knees and elbows, bottom in the air, huge belly hanging, stretch marks, dimples, divots, fat, possible hemorrhoids, sweat… the outcome is pleasing… but the position and total humiliation has me scared. Anyone with experience or recommendations of a different method?

Oh Lord... you had to be the first to respond didn't you?!

I was actually just reading about it and  all the sites say the butt crack is called a "Hollywood wax" and they suggest not doing it because it's there for a reason... it absorbs sweat and prevents chafing. In that case I really need to grow more hair on my ass cause I have a really sweaty ass... not doing the butt in the car AC vents anymore!!

Tina told me there are cars with AC in the seat, like the seat heaters.... maybe you need a new car...lol

HELLO!! YES- why do you think I want the Lexus?! *Only* 92K... The AC in the seats was a HUGE selling point for me... we decided to have another kid instead - it'll have to wait until the next Sponge Bob game sells... REALLY WELL ... HEY EVERYONE - The new Sponge Bob game that comes out at the end of Oct called Truth or Square... IS AWESOME!! :)

Donna and I go way back -- we used to live in LA close to her. My husband is the technical director for a studio that makes video games for Pixar and Nickelodeon and his next one is a Sponge Bob game. That's all.

If the game sells well we do get a royalty bonus – but with the economy what it is even if it sells fantastically we don’t see near as much as we used to… company holds onto most of it in case it needs the capital. But a little is always nice!

The game he just made "UP" got family video game if the year for the X-Box... we're so proud :).

I didn't wax but did a *clean* shave with my first (wasn't a hair to be found!) and plan to with this one. Birthing or not, it's just personal preference.
