26 wks and doing great

I haven't been on here in forever.  Life is busy and sometimes I have felt out of place for getting pg so soon and not being at goal.  I still had 35 lbs to lose and got pd at 5.5 mos out.

The good news is that this pg is going great.   With my ds  at 26 wks I was on bedrest due to IC, on 100 units of insulin and fighting high blood pressure.
This time around, I am enjoying life.  I have a cerclage that is keep my cervix in check, my sugars have been great, and no high blood pressure.   YEAH

I have gained more than I should, from eating more than I should...lol   So far up 18 lbs.....

That's great!  And comforting to know as a new TTC'er since my RNY.  I often question whether I'm doing this too soon or if my body is ready. 

Good luck to you and don't worry about the 18lbs.....that seems very minimal for 25 weeks.  :)

Sounds like everything is going great!! Congrats on a great pregnancy so far!

Glad you are doing well!  Don't feel out of place....I, too, got pregnant early at 4 months post op...many of us have.  :-)

Congratulations on both your WLS and your pg....seems like things are going great...many people are early out pg gals so DO NOT feel out of place...this is a place for support....

SO glad all is well and you are feeling better...now make sure to continue to keep us updated! :)

I have been wondering how you have been doing.. I have wondered about quite a few that have had surgery the same day as we did that don't get on here anymore..

I am so glad all is well for you..

I have a totaly new life.. I have 10lbs left to hit my unrealistic goal but I am 10 lbs under my realistic dream goal..
