Visiting OB every 2 weeks already....?????

When did any of you start going to your OB every two weeks instead of once a month???   My OB just started that with me... and it just seems early.  I dont remember going to OB so often so soon with my son.

 My doctor had me start every two weeks starting at 28 weeks. I can't remember when I started the 2-week scheduling with my first two kids.

I will also start every 2 week visits after the 28 week appt in October...just means you are getting close!!!

Since my first appointment at 8 weeks pregnant, I have gone every two weeks! So in a way it's nice to be able to get an ultrasound every two weeks and see your baby growing. Now Im going on 26 weeks and still see her!

I think it was 28 weeks for me seeing him every two weeks and at 32 he started me every week for an NST.  (What a pain - but a fun one to get to hear the baby!) 

I think that is done for "high risk" pregnancies - of which I was considered one due to my WLS.

I started bi-weekly OB appts at 24 weeks and then I switch to weekly at 32 weeks. I didn't understand why but they just told me today that due to my surgery they just want to make sure baby stays healthy and grows as it should.

I have been going every 2 weeks since about week 17. Thats how the doc wanted it so thats how I have been doing it. :)

Normally it begins at the start of the 3rd trimester.  :-)  No worries!

I"m 29 weeks and just started with the 2 week appts.   Seemed early for me too but I think we just aren't realizing how close we are! :)

Thanks to everyone for your responses.  I guess it really DOES just mean we are all gettin close!   I Cant wait... i am literally counting down the days!!! :-)
