33 Week OB Appointment
HI--
I had my 33 week OB appointment and all my vitals were good. My total weight gain dropped 3 lbs. from last week, so my total gain is 20 lbs. My BP is 110/70, urine normal. The u/s was unremarkable...fluid levels great, and for once, my little boy wasn't playing with his boy parts. Perhaps we'll have to drop his current nickname: "Perv."
I have been having BH contractions since yesterday afternoon and just generally feeling crappy. The OB even touched my cheek (in the hallway before he saw me) and asked if I felt alright. (When I'm not feeling well, it's always obvious to others.) So, after the appointment he sent me for a Non-Stress Test. The good news is that everything is fine with baby and me. That's fantastic. The bad news....the nurse kept going on and on about how hyper my baby was and how for a 33 week'er he looked great. My OB was then at the hospital for a delivery so he checked in with me. He's awesome!
So, basically everything is fine, but I'm feeling not great physcially/emotionally. Part of me thinks that perhaps I'm just stressed: we have lots going on around here and a baby coming in very short order. Tomorrow a long-awaited shed is being installed here at the house and on Thursday we're hoping to hammer out a deal on my new car. All exciting developments, but stressful too. Oh, and we haven't even begun the nursery. We're hoping to start this weekend.

So glad it all went well....woooo hooooo.....
I got a little stressed about the 33 week mark too....more so from all of the crap I felt like needed to get done....I had to stop and relax and realize I could only do so much....I too got a new car about three weeks before Nathan arrived....was fun but then had to get the carseat in order, etc.; get bag packed, etc. Just know it will all get done....just don't stress...it won't be good for you or the babe :)
Take care and have a great week!

Did I post this? LOL. I am going thru the same exact things you are. My OB said the same thing to me last week and I've been feeling crappy too. Ugh.
I hope you start feeling better. BH may not be painful but they are uncomfortable buggers, aren't they?! I wish mine would stop. I have over 4 an hour at 29.5 weeks.
Glad you little perv is doing awesome. That is great news!

Paula- great that baby is doing so good. I hear you on the not feeling good- last week I started getting BH (which I don't recall having the first time)...but they made me feel yucky- I had them for several days, then they just disappeared and I feel more like myself. Things will be accomplished soon, and then you'll feel better too. Hang in there!
Glad everything with baby boy is going good! Sorry you aren't feeling the best. Everyone keeps telling me the third trimester is rough...and I am a "stresser" like you are so I can already feel things like getting the nursery in order pressing in on me...I want things done "now" lol
Take a deep breath and enjoy the new car!!

Glad everything is going well with baby. Everything will fall into place. Just breathe. If something does not get done just remember its ok. I have a problem with that also but I just breathe and remember I am not super woman. I should be though!!
