Last night he had a lot of boogers in his nose (he hates me sucking them out!). They were white not green or yellow.  No noise in his chest.

Today my mother-in-law called me and said "he's not himself".  He's just lethargic and laying there sucking on his suckie.   She puts him in front of his toys and he just sits there and stares at them!

He is eating.  He doesn't feel warm.  He's had a poppy and two pee-pee diapers today.

What should I do?? (Besides resist leaving work and rushing home to hug him)

If he has no fever, is eating and peeing.... what good would the doctor do?

HELP I am very sad/scared now!

If there is no fever, and he is pooping and eating. There isn't much to do. He may just be having a "blah" day. Occasionally my babies would have a day or so like that.

I wouldn't worry unless it continues longer than 24 hours, or he develops a fever.

But that is just me.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

I second what JoJo said. If theres no fever and the boogers aren't green or yellow, then there's not viral thing going on. I would jus****ch it and see what happens.

ditto... sometimes a baby will have an off day just like we do.

none.... use some little nose drips in this nose to help suck the boogies out... a humidifer will help losen the gunk as well... jayson has some off days... and is back to normal times 7 the next day

He might just be getting a little cold and not be feeling well, it might just be barely starting for him.   I find that when my kids have been sick, they hardly want to eat anything, so it's good he's being a good eater still.   A humidifier in his room will help loosen the congestion and then saline spray and the "boogie sucker" to get the stuff out.   There's also some good menthol vapor bath stuff from Johnson & Johnson that you could bathe him in to open up his nose or the vick's menthol baby rub to put on his chest at night.  GL!

Hit goal weight of 140 at 13 months out from RNY!! 130 pounds GONE!
