Glad it's not your kidney. My cousin has GB issues and had them while preggers. She said it sucked. I can't even imagine having them preggers. Believe it or not I was told narcotics are safe when preggers. I took some when I was.
I shall now be know as Hagatha: Queen of the queens.

I had 2 (or maybe 3) gall bladder attacks while pregnant with Josiah. They did a scan on me and found out I have stones but said to get it taken care of after I gave birth. (Josiah is amost a year and I haven't had an attack since) Anyway...they sent me home with pain meds and I was SHOCKED... I didn't take any and called my OB/Midwife the following day. She said it was perfectly fine and I should actually take it with tylenol. Apparently it bypasses the placenta...
I hope you feel better soon.

I am still home. They scheduled the gall bladder scan for tomorrow morning. Like they couldn't tell me not to eat last night at the hospital so they could do it today. Grrr. The pain is aweful and I can't sleep. The desparate lady in me is wishing I had the pain killers now, but i probably wouldn't take them because I'd guilt myself out of it. Sooo tired and uncomfortable, but know that it's fixable if it's my gall bladder. If it's not then I'm checking myself into the not so sane ward....because this pain sure feels real.
