bleeding after c-section

If you had a c-section how long did you bleed? I have had some sort of bleeding pretty much this whole time, lately sometimes I have it sometimes I don't but I have to wear something everyday as some days it is way more than others! And it will be 6 weeks Thursday!
Did this happen to anyone else??

 Oh, I'd like to hear the answer to this as well.  I'm on 16 days of goo so far.

Post partum bleeding last the same as a vaginal delivery.  I was told to expect some kind of bleeding (spotting) for up to 8-10 weeks.

Although I had vaginal I was told the bleeding is the same with C Section. I only bled for the first two weeks, with both kids. I went for my 6 week PP appt today and she said she could tell I will be getting AF any day now.

I bled enough to have to wear a pad for about 6 weeks. It was irritating because it wasn't alot but I couldn't go w/out.

I don't think you are going to like my answer.  When I had my IUD put in at 7 weeks post op I was still bleeding.   I didn't stop bleeding completely until I had the stupid IUD taken back out 4 months later!

I bled for five and a half weeks, had two days with no bleeding, and then got AF!!! It was rough. But, it will stop eventually. Good luck!

yea it could go on for a while.

I bled for at least 6 weeks with my vaginal but I think only about 2 weeks with my csection.  I was lucky

My first c-section I bled for 2 weeks...this past one was almost 7...and like you said, it was not alot, just annoying!!

Yes, it sucked big time....I even used those major pads from the hospital for awhile....lol....

I think mine was about 8 weeks....way too fricking long when you are so not use to it for 9 months....
