Does that mean he has learned how to yank-mommy's-chain ???   He has done  this several times now....cry and fuss and then I show up and he's all smiles.

At what age do kids "manipulate" ??  I thought it would be much older than 3 months ?? 

I don't like "cry it out" if there is something wrong....but lately the only thing wrong is that Cooper wants to have someone around.

Maybe he has figured out a new game. Also it might be the start of separation anxiety. Try just calling out to him. Say mommy is hear and see if that works. Also another great trick is to play peek a boo with him. It will help him get the idea that even though he can't see you, you will back.

He is too stinkin cute!! Nylah did that to me also and I had to put a stop to it because it got bad when she got to 15 months and older, then she really tried to manipulate me.

Wow...this is what I have to look forward to huh?!?!?  He is soooo adorable though.

Nathan does that but not too often...the one good thing of just having me around right now is he has learned to play on his own...but he is starting to get some separation anxiety...eeks!
